When it comes to poker prowess, Jennifer Tilly has a significant pair of assets to help her get ahead of the field – and they’re not quite what you might think!

The upfront actress who made her name in a variety of film and TV roles, including the Bride of Chucky, is nonchalant about her busty figure and its effect on opponents, stating once that:

“Nothing looks better to them than a pair of aces. They're not looking at your pair. They're looking at their pair."

Neither is her long-term relationship with Phil Laak the main reason for her success, as she had learned the game long before meeting one of the game’s most likeable and voluble players.

Rather it was her family who kindled her love of card games of all kinds, her first husband - Sam Simon, The Simpsons producer, was also a huge poker fan which helped – and an early film role in gambling comedy Let it Ride, which kept her interest in the game, playing poker during filming breaks.

The ditzy looks and, frankly, huge breasts, mean she’s had a hard time being accepted as a genuine poker pro, but she has certainly produced some moments of excellence– and horror plays worthy of a cameo in her Chucky franchise! Here, for your enjoyment, are her top 3 poker moments…

The Good

Jennifer has made close on $1million from the game over the years, so she must be doing something right, and here we see her outplaying some of the game’s best at the Party Poker Big Game.

 The Bad

Winning a hand doesn’t mean you’ve played well, as Tilly found out in the following clip, her  cliff-hanging bust matching the mich-needed 3-outer on the river – which one would drop?

The Horror Show

Nerves can make even a good player look terrible, and the following hand is, unfortunately, one of the ones which have followed Tilly throughout her poker career. It is, to be perfectly honest, horrendous – but we’ve all been there, haven’t we? Hmmm…

The poker has taken a back seat for Tilly recently, the actress stating that:

"I love poker but greatness in poker is an elusive dream. There are too many variants. Trying to find validation in poker is like trying to find a virgin in a whorehouse. I'm not giving up poker entirely – gambling is an addiction after all. I'm just going to treat it more like a hobby and less like a career."
