Hi all Tubers,

William Hill has done it again!

Exclusively for players who sign up through PokerTube.

William Hill adds two Irish Open package, valued €4,500.
Each package include:
- €3,500 Main Event Buy-in.
- €400 Five nights accommodation and breakfast at Burlington Hotel, Dublin (April 5-10)
- €600 Flights and spending money

How you can win the packages.
Package #1
We will run an eight week leader board including 24 tournaments on William Hill.
First tournament will be Thursday Jan 12 and the last one March 4.
Top 10 players on the leader board will play a “Final Table” where the winner will get the package.
The leader board will be based on how much cash the player wins.
This final will be played Sunday March 18.

The leader board will be constantly updated on PokerTube.

The tournament schedule for the leader board will be the same every week, Jan 12 – March 4.

Thursdays at 18.00 GMT (19.00 CET)
TNL $2R, Unlimited re-buys for 60 mins.
$250 ADDED to the prize pool.

Fridays at 18.00 GMT
TNL $5R, Unlimited re-buys for 60 mins.
$250 ADDED to the prize pool.

Sundays at 18.00 GMT
TNL $10 Deep stack Freeze out.
$250 ADDED to the prize pool.

Package#2
A super satellite with one package added to the winner.
Sunday March 11 19.00 GMT (20.00 CET)
TNL $20 Deep stack Freeze Out.
An Irish Open package ADDED to the winner.

The winner of any of these packages cannot transfer the prize or exchange it for cash.
If the winner in any of these events can’t go to Dublin, the prize will be given to the runner up in the same event.
You can only win ONE package. If we will have the same winner in both events, the second package will go to the runner up in the leader board final.

Looks like I'm coming to visit some of my relatives across the pond. Didn't think I'd be heading over there so soon but how can I not go now?

Hmm.. might have to set up a BAP for my relatives, to help with the airfare.

Question: How does the scoring/point system work for these games?(are there pts. for Top10 finishers? are pts. calculated based on number of players in tourney, etc. etc.??) Is there a link to how points/scoring is done? (& link to a leaderboard).


I'm planning on placing in Top10 in this (have already begun making arrangements for travel ;) ... just in case... ie. passport) but also know that there are some games I won't be able to play in (like tomorrow's first game...sigh) so it'd be nice to know in advance what the scoring system is. (I've never played enough PokerTube games in the past to have a clue about leaderboard scoring... assuming it's similiar or same as how it's typically done here.

Thanks to anyone who provides me with this info.

The Sundays will be 3000 (I'm not sure if they will change it in time for Sunday though)
The $20 satellite will be be at least 3000, maybe 5000.

Bottom right on homepage. Scoring system is based solely on total accumulated prize money.
