Impressive number of 826 entries showed up today for Day 1B, bringing the total field size to an astounding number of 1,226 entries

After 171 players advanced from DAY 1A, another 425 players survived DAY 1B today. In the end of the DAY 1B average chip count stands at 59,322 and Darlene Lee emerged the chip leader after 8 levels of play. Total live earnings of Darlene Lee at the moment are $120,639. She is cancer research supervisor and part-time secret poker player from Canada. She earned herself a pair of Monster headphones just like chip leader of DAY 1A, Ben Bianco.

Several big names took their seats in the tournament, including Andy Frankenberger, Mike Sexton, two-time NBA Champion Malik Rose, former pro football player Richard Seymour, actor James Woods, and Dwyte Pilgrim, the Season 4 winner of this event whose victory remains one of the most memorable wins in WPT history.

With the field seize of 1,226 players, bubble will be bursting with 120 remaining and eight of final nine players will be guaranteed to make six-figure sums. The winner will take home astounding $843,744 for his efforts, while the minimum payout is $6,570.
Day 2 is underway now and 620 survivors who took their seats in the room will continue their journey first towards the bubble and then onwards to the final table until just one remains.
