Last night we published an article on the Monster Stack Event, as the number of participants was exceeding all expectations with late registration still going on. Today, as the Day 2 of the event is on the dinner break, we bring you the final numbers as they stand.

It took a while to count all the people who got involved and those who were busted during all the chaos, but in the end, WSOP people did a great job with getting everyone to their tables and helping them not get lost along the way.

And, when I say everyone, I mean total of 7,862 players who paid their buy-in in exchange for the seat at the table and 15,000 in chips. In doing this, they have created the prize pool of $10,613,700. The event came very close to break the record of this year’s Millionaire Maker event, which would easily happen if this tournament offered reentries like the Millionaire, but as it is, it fell short by 115 entries, and the created prize pool is smaller by $155,000.

Regardless of this, 792 players will be making money in this event, and the minimum cash is set at $2,759. Winner of the whole thing will walk away with $1,327,083, runner up will take home $820,863, while everyone who makes it to the final table will be booking a six-figure score.

Whoever emerges victorious here will, in fact, take home more than the Millionaire Maker winner Jonathan Dimmig, and even if the difference is only couple thousands, this will be the biggest cash of the summer so far, at least until One Drop tournament reaches its conclusion.

3826 players made it through the opening day of the Event, and only some 1,200 returned from the dinner break, so it is possible that the tournament will reach its bubble tonight. After that, all the remaining players will have just couple hundred players standing between them and the bracelet. And when it is all said and done, the WSOP will produce yet another millionaire!
