With the buy-ins ranging from just $0.11 to $22, the MicroMillions series is certainly accessible to all willing to invest some time into grinding.

The flagship tournament, $22 Main Event boasts a cool $1 million guarantee, meaning that someone will get to walk away with awful lot of money for a super small investment. Apart from the usual variety of the games offered through the series, super knockouts and progressive super knockouts will certainly garner some attention as these always turn out to be a lot of fun.

A full schedule is available on PokerStars pages.

Bubble Dash

Bubble Dash is a special tournament format making its debut in the MicroMillions. This recently launched format is designed in such a way to ensure that money (the bubble) is reached quickly. Blind levels are fast and furious to start with and gradually increase as the more significant money jumps approach.

Not only that these tournaments guarantee that the money would be reached fast, they also ensure that the play during the later stages will be much deeper, making it way less a lottery and way more a skill-based competition as the tournament progresses.

The MicroMillions Leaderboard

Every big tournament series is accompanied by the leaderboard rewarding those best and most persistent players, and MicroMillions 9 is no exception. He or she who tops the leaderboard after ten days of play will receive 6 months worth of Sunday Million tickets, e.g. 26 x $215 tickets. Places 2 – 9 will receive 5 x $215 tickets each, while those placing 10 – 100 will all earn a Sunday Million ticket as well. Just a little more incentive to get the grind going.

Looking Back

So far, eight MicroMillions Series have been completed, awarding total of $67 million and change in prize money. There have been nearly 11 million tournament entries and the biggest prize to date was $160,000, won in the MicroMillions 5 Main Event by the Hungarian player β€˜stygher’.
