WPT UK Final Table Streaming Live on PokerTube Today

(Updated)The World Poker Tour UK £3,000 Main Event at Dusk till Dawn is now down to final six players. The final table action, which starts at 2:30 PM, will be streamed live right here on PokerTube.

These are the final six players and their chip counts:

1. Matas Cimbolas 3,534,000

2. Ben Warrington 2,616,000

3. Tamer Kamel 1,844,000

4. Antoine Saout 1,086,000

5. Patrick Leonard 836,000

6. Phillip Mighall 710,000

This WPT event started four days ago (with two starting flights) and attracted a total of 354 players. Once registration was closed and the official numbers were out, it was announced that the winner will be walking away with $313,328. Forty-five players made the money, with the minimum cash being $9,400.

The bubble burst early on Day 3, as 51 players advanced, and the honor of the bubble boy went to Ian Simpson. His pocket Tens fell victim to the a6 of David Peters. The flop immediately brought an Ace, but there was still some hope for at least a chop when the dealer turned a fourth spade. The river bricked completely and Simpson was the last one to be sent home without any cash in his pocket.

Play continued and others were sent to the rail, including Chris Moorman, who followed soon after the bubble burst, Sergio Aido eliminated in 37th, David Peters in 30th, and Jake Cody in 26th.

By the time the last river card hit the felt, there were sixteen players with a stack still in front of them. Antoine Saout was the one to catch, as he bagged the chip lead in the form of 2.3 million chips. The closest contestants to the throne were Tamer Kamel and Ben Warrington, both in seven-figure territory, but also both under two million chips.
