The WSOP is in full heat, and the usual suspects are all in Las Vegas. We always look forward to seeing and hearing what the ladies of the game are up to, so Pokertube’s very own Laura Cornelius borrowed a few minutes of Jennifer Harman’s and Maria Ho’s time, to get up to speed with their WSOP experiences.

Jen Harman is certainly one of the game’s legends. The double bracelet winner, cash game expert and mother of twin boys, took some time out of her busy schedule to talk to us and we asked her about poker and personal life. Speaking of poker, Jen reflected on the Dealer’s choice event, the lucrative cash games at the Bellagio and her little Twitter war with her good friend and fellow player, Todd Brunson.

Maria Ho was the other poker lady Laura got a chance to chat with, and the young and beautiful poker pro spoke mostly about her ongoing WSOP. As the time of the interview, Maria was playing in the Dealer’s Choice event, alongside Jennifer Harman and many of the other top players, including her good friend Daniel Nagreaneu. Maria talked us a little through the strategy of picking the game in the Dealer’s Choice event and the talented player that she is, she says she prefers to play the “other games” such as Baducey and Badacey in this format, as the other players are not as familiar with them.

I am primarily a no limit hold’em player but I feel like if someone is gonna get dealt two aces you can’t really mess that up, right? So even if I do think I have an edge in that game, I’m not gonna pick it. Maria Ho;

It is worth noting that this was Maria’s 5th cash this WSOP and she is still looking for her first final table of this summer, to add to the three final tables she has made in the past. Make sure you cheer on Maria as she continues her quest for WSOP bracelets, and enjoy the interview in ful
