Great number of states worldwide is expanding their lists of blacklisted poker domains, including some of the biggest names in business, the PokerStars not being an exception.

Joined by the Swedish, Romanian, Greek and Polish websites of the poker rooms, Hungary’s gambling authority decided to include a few of the domains used by PokerStars in the country’s Internet blacklist. The blacklist does not include Full Tilt Poker, but includes some other top online poker rooms such as Unibet, Betsson, Betlic.com, Bet-at-home.com and PartyPoker, and the block has been in effect since mid-July 2014.

PokerStars is the largest and busiest online poker room in the world and often has more than 200,000 players logged in simultaneously. The room offers an unrivalled game selection, the biggest and richest online poker tournaments combined with an excellent customer service.

PokerStars is generally considered to be the safest and the most financially secure online poker site in the world.

Although PokerStars has a positive image and reputation and it has the biggest traffic of poker players (almost ten times the traffic of anyone else) they are constantly trying to improve their relations with players as much as their professionalism. PokerStars reassures their players that their funds are safe and secure and only asks for patience in the whole matter.

Controlled by the State with a system of State-issued licenses, the regulation of online poker in Hungary is part of a broader governmental plan.

Earlier this year, one of the Baltic countries, Latvia, announced the launch of its first-ever online gambling blacklist and now the new blacklist includes PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, Poker888, Unibet and William Hill.

In Russia also, the blacklist of poker domains contains hundreds of poker websites including PokerStars.
