Las Vegas. A place where people don’t sleep, the lights never dim and the money is in constant flow. A gambler’s paradise. Well, until they lose all their money. But, whether they leave a multi millionaire as Ryan Reiss did last year, or with their tail hanging nonchalantly between their legs, one thing’s for sure, they had a blast experiencing what Sin City has to offer!

Throughout May to July, Las Vegas is at its busiest. The strip invites stag parties and raucous tourists to party 24/7 in the various hotels, clubs and casinos it plays host to. It also invites gamblers from all over the world to partake in the most historical, prestigious, biggest and best poker tournament there has ever been. The World Series of Poker is in its 45th year and it’s as popular and exciting as ever before, with a whopping $10m guarantee for the first place winner in the main event this year.

Since 2008, when a friend first introduced me properly to this game of poker, it has been a dream of mine to get out to the WSOP. This year the dream is a reality! I am so happy to have joined forces with PokerTube so I can help bring you all of the latest from The Rio as the action happens. Aside from player video interviews and updates, I will be on a mission to find the most exciting and adventurous activities Vegas has to offer in our ‘Stripped Bare’ series. I will be teaming up with Betfair to visit the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, whooping at a UFC fight, riding the strip in style in a stretch limo, meeting the King himself at The Gracelands wedding chapel and flying a fighter jet plane across the Las Vegas desert.

It couldn’t possibly get any more adrenaline fuelled off the felt, but on the felt, the heart will be pumping too, I can assure you. We will be catching up with Natasha Sandhu as she sweats boyfriend Sam Trickett in The One Drop and we will be there to interview the eventual winner of the biggest buy-in tournament ever in history. I will be hot on the heels of all the biggest stars of the poker world and will even pester a few to let me into their Vegas homes for the day.
