UK Highroller Hits Ladbrokes Online for £400k

Paul Newey is the man we’ve all gotten used to seeing in the highest cash games around. Although he is not a professional player, Newey enjoys rubbing shoulders with the best in the game and seeing how he matches up. But he also has another passion – casino games and slots, be it in the brick and mortar casinos or online.

Earlier this morning, Newey released a series of tweets featuring his attack on Ladbrokes' online slots. The highroller made a big hit right off the bat to start the day.

Someone else would possibly be happy with striking gold after a few spins, but that’s not what Newey is about. He’s proven time and time again that with him, it's all about the thrill and excitement of the games. So, a couple of hours later, this tweet came through.

Have you ever played a poker machine for £25,000 a pop? Probably not, but for Newey it’s no big deal, and when the stakes are that high, even a regular flush brings a big payout.

And a measly straight for a ‘measly’ £100,000.

And when all was said and done, Newey came out with the final number. Seeing that he started with around £60k or so, the highroller took Ladbrokes for around £400,000. Sick doesn’t even begin to describe it.

There hasn’t been any activity on Newey’s Twitter for a few hours now, but we wouldn’t be shocked to see him come out with his balance showing a number over a million. While £400k is impressive, a million would be mind-boggling!
