We ran a little late with last week’s report, which means that today’s will be somewhat short. But the last one was a bit long, so balance will be maintained. One thing that marked the past couple of days at the nosebleeds tables was the clash of the latest rivals – Patrik ‘FinddaGrind’ Antonius and his copycat ‘Patriktortonius.’

The two met at the $1k/$2k 8-game tables and the Finnish pro lived up to his reputation, taking ‘Patriktortonius’ for $178k on Tuesday, according to HighStakesDB. This could mark a turning point for Antonius, who has been experiencing quite a downswing lately. Not to lead you astray, Mr. Antonius is still up $1.7 million for the year.

Tuesday saw a few more six-figure winners, with ‘bbvisbadforme’ making $123k profit against ‘Kagome Kagome’ and Phil ‘Polarizing’ Ivey at the 2-7 TD tables. ‘AthaCliath’ finished the day banking just shy of $118k, continuing his great series, earning most of it from Dani ‘Ansky451’ Stern. It was a good day for ‘thecortster’ as well, as his daily balance sheet ended with a plus of $107.8k.

Things went quiet for a couple of days after Tuesday, and it wasn’t until Saturday that we saw the action pick up again. There was only one big winner and that was ‘bbvisbadforme,’ who profited $224k, adding to his Tuesday winnings. Once again, his major challengers were Phil Ivey and 'Kagome Kagome.’

The match started well for the high stakes legend and the German pro, but ‘bbvisbadforme’ was in no rush. About an hour into play, he started turning things around to not only recoup all of his losses, but to also make the earlier mentioned profit. ‘Kagome Kagome’ helped about $105k toward this charitable goal.

The second biggest winner of Saturday played his cards on PokerStars. ‘SamRostan’ earned $79.4k, with the great majority of his volume played at the $400/$800 mixed game tables.

But we’ll settle for what we get (obviously).

Things did not get any better for Phil ‘Polarizing’ Ivey, who dropped another $275k since the last report.

‘bbvisbadforme’ had a great run, amassing about $450k in winnings for the past week. That was just what he needed to bring his year back into profitable territory. If it should continue, this could end up being a good year for him after all.

Patrik ‘FinddaGrind’ Antonius only played on Tuesday, and with most of his winnings coming from ‘patriktortonius,’ he finished the week up just shy of $200k. On the other hand, ‘patriktortonius’ recouped a little bit of those losses against the Finnish pro, ending up down around $168k.

It was a decent week for ‘thecortster’ as well, who added another $170k+ to his bankroll since the last high stakes report.
