High stakes action is not subsiding, especially on Full Tilt where the group of players just keeps coming back for more adrenaline rushes. We concluded that last week's report with Saturday action, and already on Sunday, they were back at it.

Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom was the story of the day, as he reminded his opponents and fans what he was made off, pulling out a 17-hour session. According to HighstakesDB, the Swede sat down to play around 9 AM and kept playing all the way until 2 AM the next day. The majority of action took place on 2-7 Triple Draw tables together with 8-game confrontation with punting-peddler whom he was able to beat out of more than $227,000. After seventeen hours of high-stakes play, Blom was $424K richer.

The day was good for SanIker as well, who walked away from 2-7 tables earning just shy of $149,000, and Trueteller also booked a nice profit of $129K. As for PokerStars, supernova9 was able to pull a $155,000 profit coming from $50/$100 and $100/$200 PLO games.

Monday saw some huge action on 2-7 tables, but also in $500/$1,000 CAP PLO games. According to HighstakesDB, big winners when it was all said and done were once again 'SanIker', Follow The Hawk and Bttech86. ‘Follow The Hawk’ was able to walk away with biggest profit for the day, with whooping $498,000 in black, nearly $212K of which came from PLO games. ‘SanIker’ was also able to cross the $400K mark, earning $409,000, while ‘Bttech86’ booked a win of “only” $302K.

Nosebleeds players are not known for taking many breaks, so the action resumed the next day, on $1,5K/$3K and $2K/$4K 2-7 Triple Draw tables. Everyone was there, including samrostan and thecortster, but it was Trueteller getting out of his chair smiling in the end. The HighstakesDB marked his profit for the day at over $435,000, and he was the only big winner on Full Tilt. Back on Stars, Aron0621 had a good day at PLO tables, banking $141K. One of the players involved in PLO action on Stars was Phil ‘MrSweets28’ Galfond.

Trueteller continued going strong on Thursday, once again dominating 2-7 TD tables. The morning session was particularly fruitful for ‘Trueteller’, as he started off winning close to $267K, mostly from ‘SanIker’, who dropped $247,600 according to HighstakesDB. Despite having some ups and downs later in the day, he finished on a high note, booking profit in excess of $288K. ‘samrostan’ had a good day on both Tilt and Stars, making a combined profit in the vicinity of $205,000.

Friday and Saturday sessions saw ‘Trueteller’ continuing his dominance. After making another $252,700 on Friday, his overall profit for the week skyrocketed over one million. Then, on Saturday, he added another $195K to that number, growing his bankroll further.

‘samrostan’also had a decent finish of the week, making over $140K in profit according to HighStakesDB. Saturday also saw some interesting action between ‘Isildur1’ and Carlooo13 who played eight hours of $2K/$k of FLO, although they were joined by ‘samrostan’ later in the day. In the end, ‘Carlooo13’ was able to book a profit of $396,000, $239K of which came from Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom.

The Damage

After another week of crazy action and huge pots, let’s see how some of the biggest names of online high-stakes poker did.

As mentioned earlier, Trueteller had by far the best week and finished on a high note, booking a profit of exactly $1,000,000. Carlooo13 played only on one day and he ended up making just shy of $400K in the end, walking away with $398,600 to the good. punting-peddler had some ups and downs throughout the week, but ended up on a high note, with $128K profit.

Victor ‘Isildur1’ Blom had a rough ride past seven days and despite of starting strong, he ended up $585K in the hole. Daniel ‘Jungleman12’ Cates joined the action for a day as well, but that did not go so well for him, as he ended up stuck about $97,000. This is still a small dent for Cates, as his profit for the year stands at $1.26 million. SanIker had a very strong start, being up over $550K at one point, but ended the week in the red, with the loss of about $79K. samrostan was able to get himself out of the big, nearly $800K deep hole and ended up losing only about $76,000 according to HigstakesDB.

With FTOPS now underway, we expect arrival of more players to Full Tilt tables and that could potentially bring some new blood to the nosebleeds tables as well. The ‘usual suspects’ would, no doubt, be thrilled about that!
