PokerTube was founded by two Swedish poker enthusiasts in 2006.

The site rapidly grew and received over 100,000 unique daily visits on several days in 2009 and 2010.

After Black Friday, the site's traffic began to decrease. PokerVIP ltd approached the founders and purchased PokerTube.Com and it's associated assets on 1st July 2012.

Since then, the site has been re-developed. The new intuitive interface makes it even easier for users to find their favourite poker videos and interact with other PokerTube members in our new look forum.
