Dangerous Doyle Dubbed as 'Scooter Driving Maniac'

A lot of elderly people who have difficulty walking are zipping around on mobility scooters nowadays, making getting around much easier and safer for them.

But are the rest of us safer as a result?

One such elder scooter user is Poker Hall of Famer Doyle Brunson, the octogenarian who has more poker stories to tell than just about anybody. One story making the rounds that Texas Dolly swears is not true is that he got banned from MGM casinos for reckless scootering.


After Brunson posted that tweet, a number of followers shared their experiences or near-misses with Doyle and his scooter:








Apparently, it's the non-scooter users who aren't paying attention who are  mostly to blame, according to Doyle. At least Brunson admitted that his machine is built for speed:
