Two craps players were killed and four others injured at a dice game in Tennessee, leading to the arrest of a teenager.
Jadarrius Mobley, 18, is facing murder charges after the incident in what appears to be an attempted robbery gone awry. The game was being played at a private home when one of the participants displayed a large amount of cash, according to wreg.com.
Marquese Taylor, 22, pulled out a gun and demanded the man's money, while also grabbing a gun lying near the potential victim and giving it to Mobley. Another player, Marcus Conway, who was seated near Mobley, tried to snag the gun away from Mobley.
A struggle ensued, followed by a shot fired. Mobley then allegedly fired more shots at all the other dice players before he and Taylor fled the scene. Taylor was taken to a hospital where he later died. Conway was pronounced dead at the scene. Both men were from Memphis.
In addition to the two dead men, four others suffered injuries from the shooting. Their ages range from 13 to 21.
"It’s believed that this incident occurred as a result of a feud while gambling," the Shelby County Sheriff posted on social media.
Mobley was eventually apprehended and charged with first-degree murder, as well as attempted aggravated robbery and murder in perpetration of a felony.
