This weekend marks the last chance to win seats for the Eagle Cup Championship Tournament of Champions. The next few days will see the remaining events of the Eagle Cup Championship play out where the winners and runner ups get to play in the grand finale event.
All to Play For
Fireworks can be expected on November 10 as the Main Event takes place in what has been a record-breaking festival - the biggest since the series was launched three years ago.
With an impressive SC$100,000 GTD for the High Main Event there’s big bucks to play for on top of the chance to play in the Tournament of Champions. For the lower stakes players the Medium Main Event has SC$12,500, and the Low Main Event SC$5,500.
Tournament of Champions
The series showpiece event the Tournament of Champions takes place on November 17. On top of major bragging rights, the winner will collect a live poker package valued at $5,000. The winner also gets to choose which event to enter while representing Global Poker and will also have the chance to bank a ton more $weeps Cash for good measure.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, there is a Hometown Heroes campaign that awards extra $weeps Cash to players who win Eagle Cup Championship events. All the winners have to do is post photos of themselves on social media with their trophies and collection of Global Poker merchandise. What could be easier?
Players can top up their balances with any or all of the following opportunities.
- SC$20 for sharing a photo wearing Global Poker gear in front of a hometown civic building (e.g. Town Hall, Court House, Council Chamber).
- SC$20 for sharing a photo wearing Global Poker gear in front of the hometown ‘Welcome To’ sign.
- SC$20 for sharing a photo at a local casino/card room wearing Global Poker gear.
- SC$100 for a 10-second video in a local poker tournament wearing Global Poker gear with the player in the next seat saying “I love Global Poker”.
- SC$1,000 for winning a tournament wearing Global Poker gear and sharing the winner’s photo with us. Result must be listed on Hendon Mob.
