Poker Power Couple Loni Harwood and Phillip Hui Announce Marriage

One of the poker world’s most prominent couples, Loni Harwood and Phillip Hui, have announced their marriage. The Thanksgiving week nuptials for the American tournament pros comes eight years into their long-term relationship.

Harwood, a two-time WSOP bracelet winner with more than $3.1 million in live-event career winnings, announced the wedding and released a handful of photos of the day via an understated post on her @Luscious_LonTwitter account:

Hui, who like Harwood has collected two WSOP bracelets and topped $3.1 million in live tourney winnings, made a similarly brief announcement via his rarely-used @KungPhui Twitter account:

Neither of the popular pros released many public details about the nuptials, though in recent years they have lived in Hollywood, Florida. Hui is a native of San Antonio, Texas, while Harwood originally hails from New York City. The two met, as one would expect, via their respective poker careers.

The announcement of the pair’s wedding brought hundreds of congratulatory messages from a wide swath of the poker world. Both Hui and Harwood are well-regarded not only by their poker-playing foes, but by large numbers of industry people as well.
