PokerStars Announce Online High Rollers Series with $11.4 Million GTD

High stakes online poker players are getting an early Christmas present from PokerStars as the site announced a nine-day online poker festival featuring buy-ins of the nosebleed variety.

The High Rollers series consists of 22 events that will run from Nov. 26 -Dec. 4 with entry fees between $1,050 and $10,300. The cumulative guarantee of the almost two dozen tournaments is $11.4 million, with the $2,100 High Rollers Main Event with $2 million GTD on Dec. 3 as the headliner.

Two of the 22 tournaments require a $10,300 buy-in and are likely to pull in the big names in poker. Those of us who can only dream of entering such events will be relegated to the rail, perhaps grabbing a few pointers along the way.

Check out the schedule of the inaugural High Rollers series that kicks off with a $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament.
