Matusow Attacks Polk Over Negreanu WSOP POY Cheating Theory

Mike Matusow launched a blistering double-barreled Twitter attack on Doug Polk, Mike 'The Mouth' incensed at Polk’s assault on Daniel Negreanu’s integrity in the WSOP Player of the Year mess.

As we covered previously, Negreanu’s Player of the Year celebrations were short-lived after a discrepancy was found in the points awarded earlier in the summer.

With Robert Campbell rightfully restored to the top spot, and Negreanu congratulating the Aussie, the story might have ended there – until Polk stepped in.

Shaun Deeb – who finished second in the PoY race that ended in Rozvadov with the WSOP Europe - also took aim at Kid Poker, accusing him of trying to cheat and claiming he must have known about his real points total.

Others jumped to Negreanu’s defence, including his former PokerStars colleague Jaime Staples, but it was Matusow who bided his time and launched the most virulent attack on Polk.

Even that wasn’t the end of matters, Robert Mizrachi – brother of Mike ‘The Grinder’, getting involved…
