Patrick Leonard Makes $10,000 University Prop Bet

Patrick Leonard has made a crazy prop bet with his friend Jason McConnen during his tour of North America. The partypoker ambassador posted on Instagram that he must move to Boston, Massachusetts within a year and go to university.

Leonard has been touring the USA and Canada during November, and from what his social media posts look like there has been plenty of drinking going on. 

When poker players with too much money and drink mix together, the result is usually some kind of ridiculous prop bet. In this case though, it looks as if the shrewd Leonard managed to milk some insane odds out of his friend.

“Prop bet made. My $1k to @macjason $10k I have to move to Boston within one year to go to university. Whose side do you like?”

Unfortunately, the final results are no longer available for viewing, but they don’t really help us here anyway. 

This will either go one of two ways. Leonard will either decide that he afford to burn $1k and not give it another thought. The other way is that he gets pig-headed and stubborn over the bet and wants to collect.

Time will tell, but it’s likely we will get to hear about how this one turns out.
