Bryan Paris Reaches Historic $10 Million Online Milestone

The ultimate in online poker excellence was achieved a few days ago when online poker proBryan Paris exceeded $10 million in tournament cashes.

Paris joins a select group of two that is led by Chris Moorman and his more than $13 million in lifetime online tournament winnings, according to PocketFives.com rankings. Paris reached the milestone on February 2, landing at yet another final table.

Playing under the 'bparis' moniker, Paris' online tournament cashes now total more than 11,000. He's been at it for more than a decade, and began playing full-time in 2007.

On the Move

Originally from California, Paris had to relocate abroad after Black Friday hit the online poker world in 2011. He found his way to Amsterdam, but has also been know to log on and play from the Great White North.

His multi-tabling of tournaments requires thousands of dollars in buy-ins per day. The new $10 million man sometimes juggles more than a dozen tournament tables at a time.

Piano Man

Part of Paris' agility and dexterity in clicking his mouse and keyboard may come from his background in playing the piano. Before finding his niche in poker, Paris was a dedicated pianist.

According to his Twitter account, Paris rewarded himself by purchasing a new piano keyboard to celebrate his $10,000,000 milestone. That's likely good news for his opponents at the online tournament tables who may get somewhat of a respite from facing Paris if he devotes more of his time to piano playing.

Live Poker Results

Paris has found success in live tournament poker as well, racking up more than $700K in winnings. His best score in that realm was a 4th place finish at the Eureka Main Event in Vienna for $100,542 in 2014.
