Getting back from Vegas to find his doormat covered in envelopes, postcards and cardboard boxes Andrew Neeme goes for an unboxing episode in his recent vlog. He gets to digging into his pile of loot right away without even checking for suspicious wires, oil stains or the smell of fertilizer.

It appears that one of the side benefits of having forty-five thousand subscribers on your channel is that a few of them are kind enough to reach out, sending words of support, lucky dollar coins, and quite a lot of Starbucks gift cards.

There is a general theme of poker chips both spendable and decorative (poker chip magnets) in the packages he gets. Makes sense. In other cases as with the guy who sent in a copy of his clients book, it looks like a stab at getting some free publicity.

Some of the gifts are somewhat more cryptic though – like the box of personalized golf balls each of which came printed with one of Neeme’s catchphrases - Flop is… FAVOURABLE! There was no accompanying letter, no explanation at all.

There are long letters and short postcards in the pile, and it is kind of sweet to see fans of his blog reaching out. ‘Always good to connect with you guys,’ as Neeme puts it. Although, as John Oliver found out when he set up his own church, it’s all fun and games until someone sends you a sample of their semen.

In the second half, it is back to business as usual. Off to the Wynn for some live cash action and some analysis of a few interesting hands including limping in with six deuce only to hit a full house on the flop. As Neeme and his golf would have it - Flop is… FAVOURABLE!
