Day 4 Overview

Day 4 of Borgata Poker Open started with 31 players remaining from the starting field of 1226 entries. After four day of poker fight, eight levels played, great play and fun, we have six players remaining at the final table of the Borgata Poker Open. Each of these players will fight to become newest World Poker Tour Champion, and for a prize of $843,744.

From 13-15th place, the prize was $31,395, from 16-18 $20,996, from 19-27 $17,385, from 28-36 $15,109, from 37-45 cash out was $13,147. It was 120 places paid, and from 111-120 cash prize was $6,750.

Kane Kalas from United States is leading the final table with a stack of 14,025,000 chips, Darren Elias is second in chips (8,000,000) and he is making his 3rd televised WPT final table. Jean Gaspard, who was leader of the Day 3 of Borgata Poker Open bubbled in 7th place and took home $135,393.

Jean Gaspard was chip leader of the Day 3 with 5,464,000 and his next closest competitor was Blake Bohn. When play began on Day 3, there were 150 players in the running, 30 of which did not make the money. The bubble burst courtesy of Tom Dobrilovic, who ran top pair into an over pair to go out in 121st place.

Some of the notables who made the money, but failed to survive the day are WPT Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja (104th), Ebony Kenney (91st), Russel Thoma (86th place), Mike Sexton (85th), Byron Kaverman (64th), John Racener (62nd), Dan O’Brien (53rd), PartyPoker’s Jamie Kerstetter (52nd) and Ryan Riess (39th).

Day 2 of Borgata Poker Open started with 620 players remaining - only 150 players took their Day 3 ticket and Blake Bohn was on the top of the chip counts with 807,500. He was followed by Ray Quartomy with a stack of 623,000 chips, then Justin Zaki (618,000), Darren Elias (594,000) and Season 7 WPT Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja with a stack of 562,000 chips.

Other players were less fortunate. The long list of Day 2 eliminations includes Kara Scott, Matt Stout, Loni Harwood, Shaun Deeb, Lily Kiletto and Champions Club Members Carlos Mortensen, Jared Jafee, Matt Salsberg, Keven Stammen and Will Failla.
