No poker player is immune to tilt regardless of how long they’ve spent on the circuit or how many hands they have under their belts. Long time pros are, for the most part, capable of keeping their emotions in check, but sometimes things just get out of hand.

According to yesterday’s PokerNews reports, Dan ‘Jungleman12’ Cates was having a rough day at the tables in the Aussie Millions 2015 $100k Challenge. Earlier in the event, he ran his pocket Kings into the quad Aces of another player; that alone was probably quite upsetting. However, when he found pocket Kings once again, and again ran them into the pocket Aces of Jeff Rossiter, Cates lost it.

After the board brought no help for the inferior hand, Cates reportedly grabbed a handful of chips and threw them toward his unsuspecting opponent. Although Rossiter was not harmed in any way and actually took it quite well, the entire table was quite surprised, to say the least. Rossiter, on the other hand, even went on to tweet about this being the "highlight of his poker career."

Not long after PokerNews reported on the incident, people started tweeting at ‘Jungleman12,’ responding to his tweet about busting out of the tournament.

A thread also popped up on TwoPlusTwo where people were discussing Cates’ behavior and the majority were in agreement that such actions were unacceptable, regardless of how bad of a beat or a cooler one suffers. As for Rossiter, most people were admiring his ability to stay composed after what many would consider an ‘aggressive action.’

So there you have it. If you can’t beat 'em, just hit 'em with chips!
