Action at the high stakes table continues to go strong. This is especially true of Full Tilt which, despite losing some of its old traffic, remains the home of all big time players. It could be a matter of habit or stakes offered or something else – whatever it may be, big six figure swings continue on daily basis, and that's all poker fans care about.

Action on Sunday saw german player SanIker take a beating to the tune of nearly $400,000. His nemesis was Sebastian 'taktloss47' Ruthenberg who schooled him on $1500 / $3000 2-7 TD heads-up tables. In total, it only took some 130 hands for SanIker to drop $397K. Alex ‘PostflopAction’ Kostritsyn had a very good day as well, earning just shy of 200K according to HighStakesDB. His profit came from the high stakes 8-game tables, against the likes of Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom, Gus Hansen, ‘samrostan’ and Dan ‘jungleman12’ Cates.

Monday brought an unusual occurrence, as the biggest winner was produced at PokerStars table. According to HighStakesDB Educa-p0ker and Trueteller played a three hour heads up match at $50 / $100 NLHE tables which saw Educa-p0ker walk away with 162.5K profit. Ruthenberg continued his good run on Full Tilt and booked another $134,000 win at 2-7 tables, while ‘samrostan’ also had a six figure day.

The following day finally saw ‘Isildur1’ back in the saddle. Swede found his way to $1500 / $3000 eight game tables and ended the day in the profit of $618K according to HighStakesDB. Most of that profit came from Dan Cates, and Viktor continued his session into the next day, still going strong. When Cates retired he continued play Gus Hansen and then some others joined in as well. Alex ‘PostflopAction’ Kostritsyn also had a very good day at 8-game tables, as he pocketed $278,500. ‘Trueteller’ was also able to make six figures, while ‘jungleman12’, who was up nicely at one point, dropped most of his profit and ended up only $58K to the good.

Ike ‘luvtheWNBA’ Haxton and ‘Denoking’ have developed somewhat of a rivalry lately and last time they met up ‘Denoking’ was able to beat Haxton out of nearly $290K. However, on Wednesday it was Ike’s turn to return the favor. After an epic ten hour battle at $300/$600 NLHE tables, Haxton walked away with $346,000 profit according to HighStakesDB. Blom’s run that spilled over from the previous day ended with a profit of another $189K as he dropped some $100K to ‘taktloss47’ at 2-7 tables.

Thursday saw a number of six-figure winners, including Jacob ‘Lottenice’ Rasmussen over on PokerStars $100/$200 PLO tables. Rasmussen made a profit of $176,000, mostly coming from heads-up play against ‘Odd_Oddsen’. As for Full Tilt, Alex ‘Alexonmoon’ Luneau was the big winner at the 8-game tables, booking the profit of $293.6K according to HighStakesDB. ‘PostflopAction’ also continued his strong run at the tables, adding another $268,000 to his weekly profit. ‘Denoking’ was able to recoup some of his losses from the previous day, winning around $90K off ‘JaeggerJack’.

List of big winners on Friday was a long one. Topping the leaderboard was ‘thecortster’ with $239.4K win according to HighStakesDB. Most of his profit came from $2k/$4k 2-7 Triple Draw tables. The same session that brought ‘thecortster’ his profit amounted to a loss of $313K for Gus Hansen. ‘JaeggerJack’ and ‘Denoking’ squared off once again, and this time things went ‘JaeggerJack’s’ way, as he booked $220K profit. HighStakesDB reports that ‘Alexonmoon’ also made the profit of $139,000 for the day, while Seb 'taktloss47' Ruthenberg won just shy of $129K.

Add Winnings, Subtract Losses…

…and we have final numbers for the week. Ike ‘luvtheWNBA’ Haxton only played the marathon session against ‘Denoking’ in the past seven days and booked a nice profit of $346,600. As for ‘Denoking’, he was all over the place, stuck nearly $390K at one point, but turned it around and actually ended up with small profit of $4,600.

For Dan Cates, it wasn’t the best of weeks, as he failed to make the profit, but his losses were only around $15K, which is hardly a number to be worried about at the stakes these guys play. Victor ‘Isildur1’ Blom was up and down through the week, but in the end, he made the profit of about $43,000, which is not the result we would expect after he had the $600K+ day, but such are the swings of nosebleed players.

For Alex Kostritsyn last week was really a big one. At one point he was up nearly $850K according to HighStakesDB and despite dropping some later, still ended up with the profit of $426,000 and change. Gus Hansen, on the other hand, booked only losing sessions for the past seven days which resulted in the net loss of $1.1 million.

‘samrostan’ did not have much fun either, as he booked a loss of $436,000 according to HighStakesDB. French player Alex ‘Alexonmoon’ Luneau fared much better and booked a profit of $462,000, even after being stuck well over $200K midweek.

Finally, the big winner for the week was Sebastian ‘taktloss47’ Ruthenberg who made the profit of $713,000 for the past seven days. Although his name did not appear in these high stakes report before, perhaps he is back at the tables and we will have another player to keep an eye on.
