Gus Hansen Rumoured to Have Won $Millions in Backgammon Game!

When Chinese poker has lost its shine for you what do you do to get your fix of mathematics based competition and degenerate gambling? With Gus Hansen everything old is new again, this time round its backgammon.

Gus has always been one of the sharper backgammon sticks, as you may remember from his dramatic reading of the backgammon rules at the World Series of Backgammon back before bots and maths nerds ruined backgammon as a competitive sport.

In fact there were often stories of him covering his poker losses with the doubling cube. Now it looks like he’s back on the dice, and pips with a recent Instagram video of a beautiful pearlescent set in his Monte Carlo hotel.

Though this time around he may not be doing so well as in the past. Although he refuses to mention how much he’s playing per point, his video shows him down 266 points according to his score sheet.

And you know he’s not playing for buttons.
