A brand new online poker championship series has begun at Party Poker and is available only to players located within the United Kingdom.
More than $220,000 is guaranteed in the inaugural Online UK Championship Series that runs from May 21-28 and features buy-in levels suitable for every budget.
In addition to the guaranteed $220K prize money are four Caribbean Poker Party packages each valued at $10,000. Winners of the CPP packages will receive special trophies in Punta Cana from esteemed members of Team Party Poker.
Unlimited Day 1 Entries
The UK Championship Series is made up of four online multi-phase events with buy-ins of $5.50, $22, $109 and $530. Day 1s will run from May 21 through May 28 and are deep stack tournaments in which players sit down with 50,000 in chips.
Players have the prerogative to enter as many Day 1s as desired, taking their largest stack of chips into the Final Day of action where a share of the $220K in GTD prize money and the four $10K CPP packages are up for grabs. The Day 1s for each buy-in are scheduled for 8:00 p.m. BST every day from May 21-27. Three additional Day 1s for each buy-in level will be held on May 28 at 3:00, 5:00, and 7:00 p.m., with the latter time slot played at a turbo pace. The UKCS final will then commence at 8:00 p.m. on May 28.
