WCOOP Main Event Champion Steven van Zadelhoff continues his online heater by winning Sunday's Heavyweight Title Fight.
Winning the World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event in September for $1,624,502 would be the highlight of anyone's year, but it's not enough for Steven 'SvZff' van Zandelhoff, he also sets his sights on the PocketFives Worldwide Online Poker Rankings #1 Spot.
Since his WCOOP victory, he's been hard at work, cashing in tournaments and grinding up points as he breathes down current PocketFives #1 C Darwin2's neck.
His latest win came in the Heavyweight title fight at PartyPoker, van Zadelhoff (AKA DBergllin on PartyPoker) outlasted 1050 entrants at the $215 buy-in event. The tournament had an overlay of $40k which went straight to his $43,000 first-place prize.
The Malta-based Dutch poker player celebrated his win with a tweet mentioning PocketFives with his usual hashtag - #ChampAtWork.
At the time of writing, van Zandelhoff's PocketFives profile doesn't yet reflect his latest win, though, with a gap of just 218.46 PLB points, it's fair to assume that he has now surpassed the Swedish online powerhouse C Darwin2 or is extremely close.
