Although all eyes have been on the PokerStars SCOOP Main Event and biggest winners throughout the two week long online poker festival, there has been a special category running this year – the Golden Scythe Award for the most knockouts along the way – and it was Calvin ‘cal42688’ Anderson who scooped the main prize for his incredible 108 KO’s.

It turned out to be a remarkable series for Oklahoma man Anderson, playing out of Mexico for the duration of the PokerStars SCOOP series, in which he bagged two titles and was only just pipped at the post in the leaderboard points race…

The amusingly-titled Golden Scythe Awards saw Anderson take the Overall Genghis Khan’ title for his brutal dispatching of 108 opponents, just one ahead of runner-up PomGinJ with 107.

The ‘John Wick’ Hit and Run title was won by ciuttac with 28 KO’s from a single event, while the ‘LeBron James’ Consistency Standings saw Ntravnik lead the way with an average of 8.8 knockouts per event played – described as ‘consistently the handiest with a scythe on a day to day basis’.

When it comes to knockouts per country involved in the 183 SCOOP events held in Low, Medium and High buy-ins, there was none better than Russia – topping the ‘Kneel before Zod’ World Domination Standings with a grand total of 46,108 knockouts.

The PokerStars ambassadors had their own internal competition going on, the "Spraggy as Rudy Ruettiger" Team Pro competition ending with Fintan ‘Easywithaces’ Hand coming out on top with 45 KO’s.
