Chris Moneymaker, renowned for his historic 2003 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event win, continues to inspire poker players around the globe. His victory, famously known as the “Moneymaker Effect,” demonstrated that anyone could become a poker champion by starting online. The Sunday Moneymaker tournament pays tribute to his legacy, offering players the chance to transform ordinary experiences into extraordinary moments.

The Sunday Moneymaker tourney, with a $109 buy-in, rebrands ACR Poker’s staple Sunday Warmup and promises even bigger payouts. Every Sunday at 1:05pm ET, players can compete for a $300,000 guarantee, except for the last Sunday of the month when the guarantee is increased to $500,000. The first-place prize in the $300,000 GTD tourney is approximately $45,000, while the $500,000 GTD event offers around $75,000.

“I’m thrilled to have an ACR Poker tournament named after me and be part of this budget-friendly, big weekly event,” stated ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker. “This tourney is designed to give poker players the opportunity to experience their own ordinary-to-extraordinary moments.”

The inaugural Sunday Moneymaker will feature a $500,000 guarantee on Sunday, July 28th at 1:05pm ET. Players can qualify through two Mega Satellites that day at 10:05 am ET, offering 50 seats GTD ($11 buy-in) and 75 seats GTD ($22 buy-in), respectively. Additionally, a Mega Satellite runs before every Sunday Moneymaker tourney, with qualification starting from a freeroll ($0) and progressing to Micro Hyper Sats ($1.05, $2.10).
