The US-facing site has seen their innovative series’ grow ever-more popular over the past year or two, so it’s no surprise that their amateur-based focus will occasionally see a pro or two drop in to take a shot at the big money.

With 7 WSOP final tables and 1 WSOP gold bracelet, Laplante fits that description perfectly, happy to switch across sites to find the best games, and the Eagle Cup with its SC$750,000 Guaranteed, 135 Championship tournament series offers a bit of something for everyone.

This meant that Ryan Laplante wasn’t the only one racking up the prizes this weekend, fellow poker streamer Chris Meyer enjoying a Sunday Funday on the site

…while Jeffrey ‘rothko’ Ellis will be desperate to add a title to his brace of runner-up spots, every winner receiving a specially engraved commemorative trophy and an entry into the series finale Global Poker Championships Tournament of Champions.

This exclusive event will see the ultimate winner take down the $5k Live tournament package, and a total of $10,000 worth of added prizes will be handed out as well, so expect to see big numbers and big names aplenty.
