Twitch streamer and PokerStars Team Pro Lex Veldhuis had a health scare over the last weekend, passing out and bumping his head on concrete.

Veldhuis was in San Jose, California for TwitchCon when he collapsed. The 34-year-old got checked out by doctors after the fall and was told there was an issue with his heart that needed follow-up. He was further advised to go home and get plenty of rest.

The poker grind can be grueling at times. The stress involved can do a number on you both physically and mentally.

Plenty of well-wishers responded to Lex on social media, advising him to take the health scare seriously and to get a full check-up from doctors.

Veldhuis dutifully informed his many followers that he was resting comfortably at home.
