The Thirst Lounge has a goal of inspiring people to do bigger and better things in life, pushing the boundaries in pursuit of attempting and fulfilling achievements that many would perhaps view as unattainable.

One such seemingly impossible challenge was taken on by Thirst Lounge host and former Big Brother Canada winner, Jon Pardy. The 28-year-old is one of 10 eclectic hosts selected by hedge fund manager and high stakes poker player Bill Perkins several months ago to be a part of The Thirst Lounge, the popular Twitch streaming channel sponsored by partypoker.

After Instagram playboy and self-proclaimed inventor of the loose-aggressive poker playing style Dan Bilzerian turned down a proposition bet from Perkins of running one mile in under six minutes, Jon Pardy was there to answer the call. Pardy, tipping the scales at 260 lbs., had plenty of naysayers who also wanted a piece of the action.

Check out the Thirst Lounge YouTube video below where Jon’s pursuit of accomplishing the nearly impossible is chronicled:

Well done, Jon. Truly an inspiration!
