Polish poker player Dzmitry Urbanovich has become the first person ever to win four events at a single European Poker Tour. Even though he was relatively unknown before entering EPT11 Malta, Dominik Panka said that Urbanovich was a very respected player in the Polish poker community.

His first major victory at EPT Malta came in the €25,000 Special High Roller event where he managed to beat 68 of the best players in the world to claim the title. Urbanovich and Connor Drinan were the last two players left at the final table, fighting for more than €500,000. The Pole soon proved why he is so respected by his peers.

A lot of people knew at least something about Connor Drinan, who became somewhat famous after the notorious Aces vs Aces hand that saw him bust out of the $1 million entry One Drop Tournament, but Dzmitry was an unknown to the majority. That was about to change after Dzmitry outlasted Drinan to triumph in the Special High Roller, taking home €572k.

That was just the beginning for the 19-year-old from Poland. He won his second title in the €1,000 Deep Stack Turbo Big Ante tournament. Urbanovich managed to beat 156 players and added €35,200 to his personal roll. By that point, he had already left anonymous player territory, but he wasn't about to stop just yet.

He entered a €5,000 re-buy tournament and took his third title at EPT11 Malta, outlasting 55 players and winning €110,000.

Finally, his fourth victory was a €200 Crazy Pineapple event where the final table came down to Urbanovich and Marcin Horecki, who has been described as a highly dangerous opponent. While Dominik Panka was all-in on the final table of the Main Event, all the chips went in at the final table of the side event as well and Ubranovich made a flush to claim his fourth title in Malta.

As for other deep runs, the Pole also entered the €500 midnight turbo event where he took second place, and a €500 midnight hyper turbo where he finished eighth.

Due to his amazing performance, Urbanovich climbed to the third spot on Poland's all-time money list. Urbanovich has now taken the lead in the 2015 Global Poker Index Player of the Year race, overtaking Joe Kuether, Nicholas Petrangelo and Connor Drinan.

Currently, according to the Hendonmob, his total live earnings have surpassed one million and stand at $1,038,132.

Apart from his memorable performance at Portomaso Casino in Malta, Urbanovich previously won a PCA $2,200 NLH Turbo Bounty event where he took home $37,640. Dzimitry also participated in different side events at Eureka Poker Tour, Rozvadov 2014, and EPT Deauville in 2014.
