Next weekend the latest KO Series kicks off on partypoker. With more than $30,000,000 guaranteed over the two weeks, and 283 different events to enter, it’s an exciting time to try your hand at tournament poker.
Every one of the events will be the progressive knockout format and will include both PLO and NL Hold’em tournaments. The table will vary a lot too - 8-Max, 6-Max, 8-6 Mix-Max, 6-4 Mix Max events are all included. Big Antes and PKO Battles formats tops off a fresh and exciting fortnight of poker.
Players can also expect not to be charged any rake for the bounty element of the buy-in. Buy-ins for the KO series start at $2.20 and go all the way up to $5,200 putting something in there for everyone, regardless of how healthy your bankroll is looking right now.
The KO Series builds up to a crescendo on Sunday September 22nd with NL main events for five different buy-in levels. Apart from the $2.20 level, PLO fanatics will also have four different main events to play as well.
Former boxing world champion and partypoker ambassador Carl Froch will be getting involved for some of the events. He said:
“I love the KO Series, winning money each time for knocking someone out, its right up my street. Stay tuned to my twitter page to find out about a special added value promotion I will be offering for partypoker players”.
KO Series SPINS
As is the norm for high-profile tournament series, players have the chance to get into the events for a heavily cut down investment by playing satellites and also SPINS on partypoker. Fans of the three-handed structure can play $5 games which pay out $10 or $20 in cash for the lower prize pool multipliers, but if you’re lucky you might be looking at winning a KO Series ticket to the value of between $33 and $5,200.
KO Series Satellites
Regular satellites to win buy-ins for KO Series tournament started this Sunday just gone. They will be running all the way through the festival until the main events begin on Sunday 22nd. For as little as $0.44 you could find yourself squaring up with some of the game’s best over the coming two weeks.
