WPN to Host Freebuy Super Series II

The Winning Poker Network (WPN) has announced the hosting of a Freebuy Super Series II from August 28 to September 6, an action-packed schedule of 57 events in which the buy-ins are absolutely free.
All players registered at WPN skins such as Americas Cardroom and Black Chip Poker are eligible to play and take a shot at $150,000 in guaranteed prize money. Those who are not yet registered can certainly do so in time to participate.
As was the case in Freebuy Super Series I that ran in May, every event on the schedule permits re-buys and/or add-ons at fees ranging from one penny ($0.01) up to $20 for the Main Event. Re-buys and add-ons at the vast majority of the 57 tournaments are just a few bucks or less.
Players can begin registering two hours prior to the kick-off of each event and late registration will be open for two more hours after cards are in the air. It's 10 days of free tournament poker with at least five events scheduled each day.
The first installment of the Freebuy Super Series that was played three months ago was determined to be a success - except for one glitch. The biggest event on the schedule - offering $20,000 in prize money - was cancelled.
The event began as scheduled on May 17, but was eventually shutdown "due to circumstances beyond our control," said a WPN rep at 2 + 2 in response to some angry players. Let's hope that whatever problems caused the cancellation have been rectified and that Freebuy Super Series II goes off error-free and that the true guaranteed prize money of $150,000 lands in the accounts of WPN players.
