WPT Champs to Receive 14k Solid Gold Mastercard

Winning a World Poker Tour title already carries with it a considerable amount of riches and fame, but those riches improved greatly following an announcement that the champions of three major WPT events will also be honored with an Aurae 14k Solid Gold MasterCard.

The WPT has partnered with Aurae, creators of the Mastercard, and will bestow the specially-designed credit card upon champions of the WPT Alpha8 Las Vegas, WPT National China, and the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic. The Mastercard is loaded with $10K and also allows the bearers to receive the benefits of the Aurae Lifestyle Membership Program for one full year.

That program puts the WPT winners in contact with Aurae Relationship Managers 24/7. Those managers, whose expertise lies in social planning for tens of thousands of events and includes booking arrangements for exciting travel, dining and shopping experiences, are available in over 115 countries.

The champ of each of the three WPT events will see his or her name engraved on the Mastercard, "serving as a constant reminder of their legacy on the World Poker Tour," said WPT president Adam Pliska.

On October 27, the WPT and Aurae partnership will be offically introduced at a party celebrating the kickoff of the WPT National China at the MGM Grand Sanya. In the U.S., a similar party and introduction will take place during the first flight of the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Bellagio on Monday, December 14.
