Italy's Federico Butteroni managed to navigate his way through a field of 6,420 players in the 2015 WSOP Main Event and land at the final table.

With only three previous WSOP cashes on his resume and the least amount of chips among the remaining November Nine, Butteroni certainly has his work cut out for him. His chip stack of 6.2 million is a far cry from the 63,100,000 of chip leader Joe McKeehen or even the 29,800,000 of current runner-up Ofer Stern.

So what strategy should Butteroni employ in order to better his chances of hanging around and perhaps challenge for poker's most prestigious title? How about calling on the player with the most WSOP championships to his name for tutelage?

Phil Hellmuth revealed that he has taken on the task of lending his expertise to Butteroni at the beginning of November, perhaps putting the Italian in good stead in his quest to win the Main Event despite having only 3.2% of the chips in play.

He's going to meet me in Manhattan November 1st," the Poker Brat said of his protege. "We're going to coach for five days in Manhattan and then he (Butteroni) is going to play in my charity poker tournament. We'll have him ready to go."

Hellmuth, of course, has 14 WSOP gold bracelets to his name, the last of which was won this past summer in the $10,000 Razz Championship. One of poker's most polarizing figures and its best tournament player (according to him), Hellmuth may be just the man Federico needs in his corner to make a run for the title.

"I'm really looking forward to it," said Hellmuth about his new coaching gig. "He (Butteroni) thinks a lot like I do."

Butteroni is tuning up for the final table by competing at the WSOP Europe in Berlin. He landed in the money in 98th place in €550 NLHE, The Oktoberfest #2, for a min-cash of €1,697.

The WSOP Main Event final table reconvenes on November 8 at the Rio in Las Vegas.
