$5 Million Venom PKO to Break All Records

ACR is ready to make more history with the biggest PKO event in the history of poker. The MoMoMo PKO Series promises a massive $50 million in guarantees, culminating with the $5 Million GTD Venom PKO Main Event.

This series focuses exclusively on the popular progressive knockout format, promising seven full weeks of action like you’ve never seen before. 

Starting on September 9th there will be more than 500 events with fantastic guarantees, including a $1 million GTD tournament every Sunday for the entire series.

Record Breaking Main Event Guarantee

The Venom Series always ends with a multi-day main event that aims to break records. Last month saw the Online Super Series guarantee $7 million, but incredibly there was enough support to offer a whopping $9.68 million prize pool.

TRT-Vitor ended his day with a crazy $1,369,821 pay out for victory. This could have been much more but for a deal the final two players made. Marty 'forrestranfar' Mathis collected $1,282,666 for his runner-up spot.

Venom PKO Tournament Series Schedule

There will be four separate Day 1 options and the winner will be guaranteed at least $1 Million regardless of any deal made.

• Day 1A: Friday, October 23rd
  
• Day 1B: Sunday, October 25th
• Day 1C: Friday, October 30th
• Day 1D: Sunday, November 1st
• Day 2: Monday, November 2nd
• Day 3: Tuesday, November 3rd
• The Final Table will be played on Wednesday, November 4th

How to Play PKO Tournaments 

Progressive knockout tournaments are relatively new to the poker scene but they have taken the game by storm.

The idea is that only half of your buy-in goes towards the prize pool with the other half being a bounty on your head. If you knock a player out you will receive half of their bounty with the other half going on your head.

This interesting format allows players to sometimes win more than their buy-in without even reaching the regular prize pool.
