Revolution may be one of the smallest poker networks that service the U.S. market, but that isn't stopping its top skins of Intertops and Juicy Stakes from bearing considerable expense and sending a crew to the CPT Punta Cana to provide coverage for its affiliates.
CPT Punta Cana is scheduled for November 3-8 in the Dominican Republic at the extravagant Punta Cana Hard Rock Casino and Hotel. A handful of players who won satellites at the two poker sites were awarded all-expense paid trips to the Punta Cana Main Event.
The five players include Austrian Daniel Montagnolli, Hampshire UK native Neil Slade, and three Americans - Phil Cardella, Steven Loney and Derek Scallon. Montagnolli and Scallon are the only pros among the bunch, with the latter immersed in poker as more than just a player. Scallon was part of the team that produced the poker documentary "Bet Raise Fold: The Story of Online Poker" a few years ago.
The five will be followed and chronicled during their Dominican Republic poker sojourn, and each will share their experiences on the Living the Dream poker blog website. Players and fans who can't make the trip can expect daily video reports at www.Live-Dream-Poker.com.

Last year, Ari Engel topped a 507-player field to earn $177,045 in the 2014 Punta Cana Poker Classic. Will one of the five Revolution Network players take the Main Event title this year?
