An update has been posted on the official website for Full Tilt Poker claims advising that a new wave of payments has been OK'd by the Department of Justice that will see $4.3 million more land in the bank accounts of U.S. players.

This latest batch will be distributed to about 2,000 petitioners and includes claims categorized as disputed, confirmed, and a third category reserved for players found to be professionals. The firm handling the claims, Garden City Group, did not provide a breakdown as to exactly how many of the 2,000 recipients in the queue are identified as pros.

Following this round of payments, 87% of all claims will have been paid - to about 59,000 players. The remaining 13% will have to wait a bit longer, with the next batch of reimbursement likely to be ready "by the end of the third quarter of 2015."

As has been the norm in previous payment rounds, the GCG conducts a test to verify and confirm the validity of player bank accounts before the deposits arrive. Some players may notice a zero-dollar deposit on their statements in advance of the actual deposit.

The newest disbursement of $4.3 million will push the amount paid to date to ex-U.S. Full Tilt players to over $100 million. This will be the sixth payment wave thus far, the first occurring on Green Friday in February 2014 when $76 million was released.

The GCG also advised that certain petitioners will be receiving emails specifying deficiencies with their claims. Those players have 20 days to respond by following the instructions in the email.
