The poker world’s eyes are largely focused on the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event right now, but that does not mean poker everywhere has come to a standstill.

In fact, another major live poker event has been going on not too far away from where the WSOP Main is being played, and its final table has officially been formed. The Bellagio XI Main Event, which is taking place at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, is down to its final 10 players after four days of competitive poker action.

Sitting on top of the chip counts at the end of Day 4 is Nick Petrangelo, who finished the fourth day of play with 2,555,000 chips to his name. The WSOP Gold Bracelet holder has a strong buffer over the rest of the remaining field, with Sean Winter having the second largest stack with 1,687,000 chips.

One of the remaining big names in the Bellagio XI Main Event, Dominik Nitsche, has the third largest chip stack going into the final day of play. The German poker shark will head into Day 5 with a stack of 1,575,000, which puts him in a good position to claim the victory.

Another well known name at the final table is the 2013 Manila Millions winner Joseph Cheong. Cheong enters the final table with the fifth largest chip count, but with 1,212,000 to work with he still has a big chance of going far and possibly taking out the top prize.

Day 4 of the event was the first day players were in the money as the top 36 players in this event received cash prizes. The lowest prize was US$18,978, but a number of players tomorrow stand to make a whole lot more than that.

The first player to be knocked out tomorrow (10th place) stands to receive US$37,956, while sixth place will receive a cash prize of US$124,087.

That amount more than doubles for whomever leaves the Bellagio XI Main Event in third place, with US$306,569 going to the number three player.

This year’s runner-up will receive US$467,152 for their efforts in the event, more than $300,000 less than what the winner stands to get.

US$788,318 will go the this year’s winner, which means the last day of play is set to be the most competitive of them all as the remaining players vie for a large payday.

As always, we at PokerTube will keep the readers posted with the major action at the Bellagio XI Main Event final table.
