ACR Has High Expectations for $1.3million High Five Series

Fans of Americas Cardroom will be delighted to hear that the High Five Tournament Series returns this month, a $1.3million guaranteed festival with the added attraction of ‘420’ break for those who like to chill in the afternoon.

Kicking off on April 17th, the five day series culminates in the $420+$30 Main Event on April 21st, with the highlights of the 420 special looking like this:

The biggest US poker site has ‘high’ expectations for their series, one that offers something for both No Limit Hold’em and PLO players, with regular, rebuy/add-on, turbos, mega stack hyper turbos, and knockout events all on the schedule.

 The 420 nod to ‘recreational’ players of the smoking variety will see ACR stop the clocks at 4:20pm each day – a 10-minute courtesy break to, as they put it, “get some fresh air, eat, recharge, or any activity you see fit!”

The opening day features a $100k GTD 6-max event while the final Sunday, April 21st, has not only the $420k GTD Main Event but also a $250,000 guaranteed Warm Up, the $109 buy-in sure to attract a big field.
