ACR’s Freebuy Super Series Is Back with a $250k Guarantee
4 years ago03 Oct
Americas CardRoom is launching a new series that sees the return of the much loved Freebuy tournament format. The $250,000 guaranteed series will run for almost three weeks between October 16 - November 3.
Big Prizes - Free Buy-in
The unique tournament format sees players able to enter for free but also with the option to rebuy or add-on for a fee. This idea was first seen on ACR a few years ago and fans have been begging for its return. Now, in a couple of weeks, players will have almost as much Freebuy action as they can handle.
Six tournaments will run every single day of the series with a $20,000 guaranteed grand finale on the final day. That is an amazing 114 Freebuy events that gives you the chance to win big prizes without investing a single cent of your own bankroll. This kind of opportunity doesn’t come along every month.
The Freebuy Format
Simply registering for a freebuy tournament will see you receive 1,000 chips at the start of the event. Then it’s up to you if you want to do battle with only those chips or invest a little of your own hard earned and rebuy 2,500 more. At the end of the rebuy period you can also make another small investment and receive a 10,000 add-on.
If winning without using your own money is your thing, then you will be happy to hear that free rebuys are available for some events for players who like ACR on social media or watch one of their YouTube videos.
Packed Schedule
All details of the series along with the full schedule can be found here.
The eagle-eyed amongst you will have spotted that there are a few PLO and PLO8 events thrown into the mix. This is along with some tournaments dedicated to some of the most well-known TwitchTV streamers that play on ACR.
Tournaments are scheduled to run throughout the day catering for customers in all time zones, so there is no fear of missing out wherever you are playing from. Just don’t forget to pencil in October 16 2019 in your diary.
