The exciting poker variant that's also known as Short Deck Poker was recently launched at the cash game tables of Winning Poker Network skins ACR and Black Chip Poker. Due to player demand, Six Plus Hold'em has been added to the tournament schedule of next month's OSS.

Headlining the OSS will be another $1,000,000 GTD tournament, a Million Dollar Sunday Main Event on October 14 at 3:00 p.m. ET. Players can also expect a nice mix of Hold'em, Omaha and PLO8 events during the 12-day festival, with a wide range of buy-ins designed to suit all bankrolls.

Six Plus Hold'em Proves Popular

Americas Cardroom players have been making their way to the Six Plus Hold'em ring game tables that were launched earlier this month. It was only a matter of time before the US-friendly poker room added the game to its MTT offerings.

Six Plus Hold'em is played with 36 cards, with the cards valued from deuce through five removed from the deck. The hand rankings are slightly modified to account for the less likelihood of making flushes and the greater likelihood of hitting straights.

Lots of Action

The OSS XIV consists of 82 tournaments with entry fees as little as 55 cents ($0.55) on up to $540. There are a wide assortment of buy-ins in between those two extremes, with tournaments for all budgets.

Satellites are available as well, including a number of options for the Million Dollar Sunday. New players remain eligible for a 100% up to $1,000 first time deposit bonus. Existing players can get a 50% up to $300 Reload Bonus now until Oct. 2.
