Americas Cardroom have just smashed the World Record for a winners payout in Bitcoin after Brazilian online poker player Rafael TheBigKid Moraes took down the ACR Venom tournament for $1,050,559.50…

Representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records were on hand to present ACR boss Phil Nagy with a certificate for the incredible feat, the company already celebrating the huge numbers drawn to the $5million guaranteed event.

The 2553 entries who paid the $2650 buy-in were chasing a final prizepool of a staggering $6,382,500, meaning there was a $1million+ prize up top as the opening day survivors got set for day 2.

The bubbleboy would be KillerKowalski, who will doubtless live to kill another day despite the disappointment, and this meant that 351 players were in the money.

Only 20 would make it to the end of the day unscathed, though, and that was reduced to the final table of eight fairly quickly on day 3…

With minimum six-figure cashes for the top seven, all eyes and planet of livestreams were following the tense and exciting action, and when the Venom champ was crowned it was Rafael TheBigKid Moraes who had survived the gruelling poker test…

That $1,050,559.50 in Bitcoin will be feeling pretty great right now for the Brazilian, butACR had more good news in store for their players…the Venom returning with an extra $1million in the kitty!
