Movie star Ben Affleck has been seen hitting the tables in Las Vegas while his partner Jennifer Lopez is working in Miami. The newly reunited pair once again have the eye of the celebrity media upon them almost two decades after their first romance.
They apparently rekindled their relationship after Affleck recently spent time with Lopez's mom Guadalupe RodrĂguez. RodrĂguez, 76, apparently has a cameo role in whatever project Affleck is directing in Las Vegas right now.
High Stakes
Onlookers lurking on the gaming floor at the Wynn Resorts casino found themselves being ushered along at around 3am Wednesday morning when Affleck was blowing off some steam in the high limit room, presumably after a long day’s filming.We didn’t learn what game he was playing, but it was obviously recreational as there was no camera crew in sight. “I took some time to learn the game and became a decent Blackjack player. And once I became decent, the casinos asked me not to play Blackjack. I mean, the fact that being good at the game is against the rules at the casinos should tell you something about casinos.”The 48-year-old actor is also a keen poker fan and by all accounts a very good player. He was actually one of the regs in the infamous Molly’s Game, along with Tobey Maguire and Matt Damon, and has won a lot in private games in general from what we hear.
