Bill Perkins' New Prop Bet
7 years ago26 Dec
It might not have been the Christmas present Bill Perkinsâ girlfriend Lara Sebastian dreamed of â and Iâm sure her billionaire Santa brought her much more yesterday â but the âvegetarian for a yearâprop bet could be worth $20K to the âdancer-model-actressâ â or even twice that amount if she can avoid sugary foods!
Perkins issued the challenge to his better half a few days ago, calling on Daniel Negreanu to help out, tweetingâŚ
Prop bet @larasebastian free roll vegetarian diet 1 year 20k. @RealKidPoker help her with alternate food choices #betterhealth

Negreanu is well-known for his vegan food lifestyle and quickly responded to the high-stakes semi-pro withâŚ
This is SO EASY! Free money for @larasebastian and I'll bet she sticks to it even longer than a year. https://t.co/2lX2hx7mBE

Philanthropist and poker fanatic Perkins is notorious for his prop bet antics, this year alone seeing him lose a cycling challenge to Dan Bilzerian, place an Ironman bet with Byron Kaverman, and indulge in a lunging prop with Antonio Esfandiari (which eventually saw the sore-legged âMagicianâ disqualified from the PCA Main Event for pissing in a bottle at the poker table!)
The reason for the most recent prop bet? âBetter healthâ for 2017 it seems, although Lara herself agreed with fansâ calls for upping the stakes from $20K to $50K or even $250K, Perkins doubling the winnings with the added sugar-free option.
@Laurance_Essak@bp22@RealKidPoker I tried for more!

Well, itâs not an easy thing to completely give up meat for a year, as Phil Ivey found out after Tom âdurrrrâ Dwan bet him $1million to do exactly that. 20 days later Ivey had to buy out for $150,000 and was likely pleased that Dwan had rejected his $5million version of the bet!
So, will Lara Sebastian last the year out without meat or added sugar? Or will she âdo an Iveyâ and cave in early?
