Today I was introduced to one of the coolest and most intriguing gaming prospects I have come across in the wide wide world of online gaming, the PokerVIP Marketplace. The Marketplace is a forum on the popular PokerVIP.com, where you can buy up a portion of another player’s action, essentially betting on that player’s ability to win. While the Marketplace has been around for more than a year now, a recent promotion has helped it garner a lot of fresh attention and new action - hear me out - PokerVIP will buy ANY piece of action posted in the Marketplace forum... That should get your attention.

As far as I can tell, the PokerVIP Marketplace is a great place for trading action and a serious spike in trading has already appeared in the wake of the new promotion. The PokerVIP Marketplace has also seen a few big wins recently that will undoubtedly whet your appetite for buying action. Just days ago MrTilt001 offered up action on a string of tournaments selling his action at $3.38 per 1%. Two people in the marketplace bought in 5% each (~$17), and PokerVIP covered an additional 20%. MrTilt001 started streaming his play on Twitch.TV and before you knew it, he was cruising through players in a $16.50 Big. He made it to the final table and eventually split top 3 for $2,500. His total cash for the whole session was $2,620. So:

  • 1% = $26.20
  • 5% = $131
  • 20% = $524

The people who each spent $17 buying in walked away with $131, That’s one heck of a return, not to mention the fun of spectating the event in real time.

Free bankroll giveaways on MrTilt001's stream!

MrTilt001 has been doing well enough that he's now sponsored as a PokerTube streamer he has a little promotion for you too. During his streams he will be giving away $5,000 in free bankrolls for anyone tuned into his channel. If you aren’t sure about trading, this is probably the best way to test the waters. Other big action to watch out for includes online grinder Rick 'ThEcLaiMEer' Trigg, and LFMagic’s Sunday packages.

Remember that when all is said and done, buying and selling action is business. You are making a low risk/high reward investment in a professional poker player, and should treat the investment with care and diligent attention. Have fun and support your pro, but don’t forget to take it seriously, your money is on the line.
