Dan Colman Calls Tom Dwan a "Scammer"

The debate surrounding the apparent refusal of Tom 'durrrr' Dwan to complete the "Durrrr Challenge" vs. Dan 'Jungleman' Cates continues, as Dan Colman added his two cents over at 2 + 2 by posting, "I would for sure say he is scamming jungleman, so yea hes a scammer."
The vast majority of posters on the thread entitled "Is it time to call Tom Dwan a scammer?" have been ripping into Dwan and Colman is no exception. The 2014 Big One for One Drop winner added,
Itβs not even up to debate as to whether durrr is a dirtbag with a gambling problem
Way back in 2010, 'durrrr' offered any comers favorable odds of 3-1 and found a taker in Cates. Dwan now finds himself down roughly $1.25 million in actual play while also in jeopardy of losing another $1.5 million on the $500K he put up for the challenge. About 60% of the 50,000-hand match remains.
However, according to 'Jungleman,' Dwan is ignoring his texts and calls. The lack of progress in the match is angering many players, some due to having a piece of action on the outcome of the heads-up battle, and others just because finishing the contest is a matter of doing what is right and fair.
What the 2 + 2 crowd is saying
The thread includes considerable speculation by posters as to the reasons behind Dwan's dodging of the challenge (or negotiating a buyout) that he issued to the poker community what seems like eons ago. Some posters believe that the publicity surrounding the event four years ago was a major reason why Full Tilt signed Dwan to a sponsorship deal that was likely worth millions.
Dwan again hooked up with Full Tilt as one of "The Professionals" (along with Gus Hansen and Viktor Blom) after the site was acquired by the Rational Group. Dwan and Full Tilt have since parted ways and a number of posters are of the mind that Dwan has gone bust and is avoiding Cates because he is broke.
Other posters have opined that Dwan is just a "scumbag" for apparently refusing to complete his own challenge that affects a lot of other players. Some of the debate at 2 + 2 has centered around whether Dwan can be called a "reneger" or a "scammer."
One 2 + 2 poster has even introduced a new term for poker lexicon - "Durrneging." As stated by 'iPUTnutsONtheTABLE,' "Durrneging is where you make a bet, keep the time frame for completion in your control, and just never complete it so you can claim you don't owe anything yet."
